New House

In July, after looking for a new house off and on for over a year, we finally found one that was a "diamond in the rough."  We had been looking for large lots in our little town of Folsom, which was a near-impossible task.  Our new house is on almost 3/4 of an acre of rock and dirt... and poses a lot more work than we had had in mind for this year.  It was also a Foreclosure that hadn't been taken care of very well.  So when we closed on the house in early July, immediately we had workers lined up to come in and "flip" our new house.  Painters, carpet guys, tile restoration people, window washers, power washers, granite layers, crown molding installers... the list goes on and on.  All of the contractors were in and out on time so that we could move in (on July 26th) to a 3 year old house that was brand new in every way.  Yay!  Lots and lots of boxes later, we're finally all settled and LOVING our new house!
