Utah!

Ever since Jim and I graduated from BYU at the end of 1999, we've talked about visiting Utah some fall; going to a football game, attending conference, seeing the colors... So, a week after we got home from Disneyland, we left for Utah. We stayed with Jeff (Jim's brother), Michelle and Lydia. Here we are at temple square.

We loved taking the girls to BYU to see campus, which is so beautiful in the fall. It was definitely a full-circle moment (thank you Oprah) to be there with them, telling them about how we met and fell in love... They thought it was boring! The only funny moment was when Sarah walked up to this little girl statue that looks exactly like her and gave her a kiss on the cheek! So cute!
Then she was embarrassed, but it was hilarious!

Auntie Brittany was nice enough to babysit Annie while the rest of us went with Jeff and Michelle to the BYU/Utah State game.
The girls loved watching the cheerleaders but at one point one of them asked, "Is this it? It's so boring!" It was fun to be in the stands with the crazy Cougs, though.

The kids watched conference with Noah and Tucker at Auntie's house while we went to the conference center for the Sunday afternoon session. It was wonderful!
The 11 hour drive wasn't as bad as we thought it'd be. One of our friends in the ward gave us an entire back of books and movies - the kids loved it! Thanks, Nicole! Oh, and we pulled a piano behind our car all the way home. It's Grama G.'s and was just sitting in Jeff's garage so we decided to borrow it for awhile. We love it!
