Hawaii was so much fun. We went to Maui and stayed at the Marriott Resort on Kaanapali. We love this trip because we get to spend so much time with cousins and grama and grampa. Lots of food, swimming, games, silly talks, whale watching, snorkeling, the Aquarium, fatboys, water slides, and early bedtimes from being so worn out. It's awesome!

Sarah and Lexi went down the white water slide for the first time on this trip; it's now become a rite of passage for anyone who wants to be a true Galovan. We spent hours on this thing. Sarah got really good at going upside down and backwards.

We loved climbing the trees outside Grama and Grampa's rooms - perfect picture spot.

The whole fam - here's the view from our room.

The kids loved "running game" and "jail" every night after dinner with the dads on the grass that feels like carpet.

Sarah, Gracie and Mady learned how to Hula in one afternoon. Here's Sarah doing the whale movement.

Lexi's blonde hair totally bleached out and we all got sunburns. It was our best weather ever.

Digging holes on the beach took all day. Mady and Sarah loved touching toes through the tunnel from one hole to the other.

Happy.

Annie LOVED the water. Her floaties were all she needed.

The pirate ship had a great slide that Annie was obsessed with. She went on it about 40 times.

Riding the dolphin...

Playing in the water 24/7.

Here's Gracie snorkeling - her body's on a boogie board and she's looking through a mask to see the fish below. When asked how she liked it, she responded that it was "COOL"!!!

Sandy cousins... these two were inseparable on the trip. They're in their own little world with their own conversations and creativity (toison).

Talking on the beach (after sand angels).

Gorgeous sunsets.

Hanging out with everyone outside of Grama and Grampa's room.

Our family picture: Annie was squirmy, Sarah was sulky, but hey, the background isn't that bad...
