Hanging out with cousins...

So this summer, we've been able to spend a lot of time with cousins from LA, Las Vegas and Utah. Both sides of our families are pretty small, but we have some awesome cousins exactly our kids' ages on each side. First, Grama G., Grampa G. and Scott, Kelli and their kids came to visit. We went to SunSplash, roasted marshmallows in the backyard, threw lots of water balloons and went to the park. We also spent 24 fun-filled hours without daddies where 2 moms and 7 kids went to lunch at Taco Bell, took in a movie (Toy Story 3), went to a ward party, went to church and had a wild time. Great memories!
Annie and T.J. going for a ride in the Barbie car...
Love those s'mores...

Then we spent a record 15 days with Grama Laura and Grampa Dan in Idaho. Highlights were: camping with tons of Manning cousins at Birchcreek, going on Grampa's boat, visiting tons of parks, fireworks, planting flowers and picking peas and raspberries from Grama's garden, playing with their dogs and cat, horseback riding lessons, seeing great grama Bradshaw and gg Manning and eating (literally) tons of yummy food! Thanks Grama and Grampa for all the fun and the relaxing trip for mommy. I needed it!

Doing poppers - our favorite kind of fireworks. Annie would throw them down on the driveway and when they didn't pop, she'd stomp on them. Cute!
The kids loved the trampoline - and the swimming pool and the slip n slide and the mud hole in grama's garden. They wore swim suits the entire time we were there.
Hanging out with grama. Don't you love the entire fruit roll up wadded up in Sarah's cheek?

How did I give birth to such thrill-seeking children? I'm still scared of going on this thing - and they want it as bumpy and fast as it can go.
What's more fun than walking through grass higher than your head to your tent where you have your own room (A's pack in play is cordoned off from the rest of the tent - she slept great!)
The old teeter totter is always a favorite at Birchcreek (along with swinging on the gate, collecting wild flowers and riding on 4-wheelers.) It's a kids' dream!
Wading in the creek - just like we did as children and just like Grama and her sisters did when they were little.
Gracie loves to ride by herself and is now totally ready to pursue her dream of becoming a cowgirl.
BB and Lexi are best friends. We can't wait to see you again soon!
